Meet the teacher
Hi! I'm Mrs. Acea, and for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher. When I was about 6 or 7 years old, I would even have my younger brother and cousins play "school" with me. As I grew into my teenage years, I worked at summer day camps. My love for teaching continued into college where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After earning this degree, I decided to continue my education and earned a Master's degree in Community College and Higher Education. This allowed me to work with youth and young adults while they searched for the best post-secondary options for themselves. Although I wasn't directly teaching, I had the opportunity to assist and learn from some amazing young people!
After this experience I found my way back to education and taught kindergarten. These were some of the most rewarding years! The best parts were seeing the students grow in their academic achievement and building their social skills. However, I found my true calling as a mother and embraced my role of raising my children.
I started to miss teaching and decided to start online teaching in January 2021. It has been such a great experience and I have found that preschoolers are so much fun! As a previous kindergarten teacher, I am eagerly looking forward to using my knowledge and skills to help prepare your learner for the beginning of their academic career!!!

Our program creates a learning experience that provides your learner (ages 3-5) with an opportunity to:
- Grow in foundational literacy and math skills
- Develop a love for God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit
- Prepare for kindergarten
- HAVE FUN!
Our mission is to lay the foundations for fruitfulness in faith, life, and academics. We aim to practice the skills, concepts, and knowledge that will lead to fruitful, kind, and confident lives for our students.
Faith
As the great Book of Proverbs (22:6) says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” At Fruitful Foundations Academy, we take time to learn about God and the Bible each week. Our desire is that our learners grow to
have an understanding of the Bible,
practice Christian principles and values,
and develop love and respect for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Life
We all know that emotions and self-awareness are difficult, even for adults.
That’s why our goal is to help our students learn how to identify, communicate, and work through their feelings, problem solve with others, cope with emotions, and practice empathy. We also practice being responsible, clean, and helpful.
Academics
With 90% of your child's brain developing by the age of 5, it's important to expose them to enriching content. Your child may be learning virtually with Fruitful Foundations Academy, but we provide fun, hands-on learning with our engaging video lessons and our monthly school boxes that are delivered to you. Your child will learn key foundational academic skills -including letter names, letter sounds, counting, numbers, and more!

OUR PROGRAM IS FLEXIBLE!
Once the weekly lessons are released,
you can access them whenever is convenient for YOU in our parent portal!
- Three themed core lessons each week
Our thematic core lessons are 30 minutes of fun, interactive, intentional theme discovery, learning games and activities, songs, rhythm and movement, craft projects, and more!
- Two mini lessons each week
Mini-lessons will be 10-15 minutes in length and consist of more explicit instruction in literacy or math, bible lessons, or social-emotional learning.
- Printables & Learning Extensions
Each week you will have access to printable worksheets so that your learner can participate in the core lessons or mini-lessons. AND you'll have access to additional learning opportunities and suggestions to continue the fun outside of Preschool Enrichment!
- Membership to our private Facebook FFA community group
As a FFA Preschool Enrichment Program participant, you gain access to our private FFA community group. Not only does this allow you to connect with other FFA families, but it also gives our students a chance to interact with Ms. Acea and share their work and achievements!

Tuition is auto-renewed each month and is non-refundable.
EVERY CLASS IS ON-DEMAND!
This program is for you and your child if:
- You want your child to learn some foundational knowledge such as letters and numbers
- You want your child having intentional, interactive screen time while you cook, work with your other children, or just catch your breath for a few minutes
- You're not quite sure how to homeschool your preschooler or you want to supplement your homeschool curriculum
- You want your child to be introduced to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
If your child isn't able to watch the core lessons on the release days, that's okay!
The lessons will be accessible through the parent portal so you can
access them any time, day or night, once they are released!

- Do parents have to be present? You will need to log your child into the online classroom at the start of each class through the parent portal, but then you can either stay or do other things you need to do. There may be activities that include art & craft supplies that you can choose to supervise.
- Do parents have to help outside of preschool enrichment lessons? Our curriculum is designed to be hands-on and self-contained within our core lessons and mini-lessons each day. There will be optional learning extension activities that you can choose to implement.
- Do parents have to buy art materials? Yes. We will provide a list of needed materials before lessons are released so that you can have them on hand. We do our best to make sure that the materials are everyday items such as paper, crayons, glue, etc. However, some projects, crafts, or experiments may require items to add to your grocery list or a quick trip to the dollar tree.
- Are there other costs besides my monthly tuition? Yes. If you wish for your learner to participate in the crafts you will need to purchase those materials.
- Is this an online "learning" video game or worksheet website? There is NO video game component to our online preschool program. We will use worksheets to reinforce letters and/or numbers.
- What's the difference between your online enrichment program and Hooked on Phonics or ABC Mouse? The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that preschoolers have no more than 1 hour of screen time. Our program allows for intentional, interactive learning experiences to prepare your child rather than high-intensity video games.
- What requirements do I need to participate? Your child will need internet, a laptop or desktop computer, their craft/project materials, their printable worksheets, and a designated workspace without distractions such as toys (this could be as simple as a chair at the dining room table). We recommend a designated workspace so that your child is able to focus and participate.
- What platform is this using? You will access to all lessons and activities on the Parent Portal each week.
- I miss the friends I had with my child's local preschool. Can I connect with preschool parents in my child's preschool class? Absolutely! After signing up, you'll join our private Facebook group of amazing preschool families. We're super supportive and excited to have you join us!
- I have more than one child that I'd like to sign-up. Can I use the same account? The more the merrier! Our super affordable tuition of $47/mo. is for the entire household! We simply ask that your access stays only to those learners who live in your household.
- How long does the program operate? We currently operate from August-May with lessons being released each week.
- What happens if I decide FFA's Preschool Enrichment Program isn't the right fit for my family? Well, we would be sad to see you go but we understand that every family has different needs. You can cancel your subscription at any time but tuition is not refundable. Once you cancel your subscription you'll lose access to the Parent Portal and all it's contents.

Think online preschool equals "educational" video games? Not here my friend! We loathe (with a passion) those mind-numbing and ADHD-behavior-inducing "educational" video games.
At our preschool, we use the FUNDAMENTALS Preschool Curriculum by Joy Anderson, an activity-based curriculum with developmentally appropriate activities that will prepare your child for kindergarten in as little as 1 hour each day! There's no need for you to supplement curriculum at home!
- Music & Movement: 10 minutes
